Simone Biles is a name that if you don't know it by now, you surely will know it in just a few weeks.
Biles is one of the only people who seem to be officially locked into competing in this year's Olympic Games in Rio, even though the roster hasn't been listed yet. Despite being only 19 years old, she has 14 world championship medals (10 of which are gold!) and 4 national titles in the all-around competition. She has taken the gymnastic world by storm and has become the most decorated American female gymnast in World Championships' history.
If you need a refresher on her talent, she won her third World Gymnastics title with a breathtaking routine. As she prepares for the Olympics, the USA Gymnastics team shared a video of her balance beam routine.
When watching gymnastic competitions, we are used to floor routines having music, but Biles' balance beam routine is without sound. She doesn't need a bit of music to make her talent known! In just 84 seconds, she proves why she is going to become an Olympic gold athlete this year.
The USA team will be announced on July 10, but I feel that it's safe to say I'll be rooting for her in Rio this summer! What do you think of her talent?
Let's hope she makes it to the 2016 Summer Olympics, so don't forget to SHARE this talented young woman with all of your friends and family!
