Zola, a nine-year-old, Western lowland gorilla living at the Calgary Zoo, was caught having the time of his life during an an enrichment opportunity at the facility. Just look at those dance moves! I'm blown away!!
Zola is one of eight Western lowland gorillas currently living at the zoo and water is one of his favorite things to play in, so much in fact that keepers give him the opportunity to get a little wet on a daily basis.
According to the Zoo, this is not a trained behavior; but a beautiful moment capturing the playful side of the species. I could watch him dance all day long, it's just fascinating! He's a better dancer than most!
