It's hard to imagine serving overseas, far away from your loved ones, unless you've experienced it yourself. The brave men and women of the United States military can always use a reason to smile while away from home and Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer William "Scott" Anderson was happy to help.
While serving on a tour in Iraq as a Medivac Helicopter Pilot, Anderson, would share his extraordinary talents with his Army brothers and sisters to bring joy to their hearts and put smiles on their faces… but he didn't stop there. Anderson would also perform magic for young boys and girls in Iraq who were hurt, suffering or needed a friend. Anderson's comrades were so impressed with his illusion skills and dedication to his craft, that they encouraged him to pursue it when he returned home.
Incorporating some of the military's perfect drill training, Anderson created a fantastic show and brought it to the judges on America's Got Talent. He told the judges that serving his country is just as important as serving his wife and young son, who watched from the side stage, before putting on a stellar magic trick.
Soldier, magician, husband and father… whatever Scott Anderson does, he does it wholeheartedly. He's a great example for anyone to follow and we are so lucky to have him serving our country!
