Squirrels can act a little nuts.
Any smart squirrel knows that once the frigid time of year comes around, it's time to get digging.
So, this particular critter took it upon himself to start burying his favorite food: acorns.
For him, burying acorns went a little differently than the average squirrel's experience. You see, this squirrel happens to live inside, accompanied by a large dog in the living room.
There aren't exactly tons of places for a small animal to store food in the great indoors. With no trees or dirt to be found in the house, this squirrel had to improvise.
He and his lone acorn approached the fluffy dog lying down on the floor. Without hesitation, the squirrel started combing through the dog's feathery coat. His hands went back and forth, back and forth, trying to submerge the acorn in black fur. This isn't the first time a squirrel chose an odd place to bury nuts.
Despite this squirrel's valiant efforts, his acorn fell to the ground. He then picked it up and kept moving, almost as if to say, "Nothing to see here."
Surprisingly, the dog did not have a very extreme reaction to the woodland creature's antics. Even though he didn't react much, the dog's face as he silently watched the squirrel attempt an acorn burial really said it all.
