Caught On Camera: Starbucks Employee Attempts To Kick Woman Out Of Store Because Of Her Service Dog!

Amy Kaplan, a 24-year-old woman who uses a service dog because of traumatic brain injuries, was recently kicked out of a Starbucks near Rochester, NY, after an employee claimed that he couldn't see any identification that the dog was actually a true service animal. In the video below, you can hear the employee basically tell her he won't serve her, and that she can't bring her dog into the store. Apparently, what the video didn't show was the employee ultimately allowing her service, but Amy left the store.

After the incident was reported in the media, a regional vice president of the chain allegedly called and emailed Kaplan an apology. Starbucks says that it trains its employees to ask about service animals, but that anyone with a dog such as Amy's is welcome in their stores.

After watching the video, tell us what you think! Was the employee being too harsh?
