I have always thought that if I had chosen a different career path that would have loved to work with animals, specifically in animal rescue. Saving cute puppies and kittens every day and getting to play with them afterwards sounds like an absolute dream job to me.
Then I see a video like this and I remember that being an animal rescuer is a whole lot harder than I could ever imagine.
When they arrive on the scene, the animals are scared and sometimes injured and they can get pretty aggressive like the bulls that were a little weary of their rescuers.
In some cases, animal rescues require a whole lot of bravery and some very special skills, things that the RSPCA has been proven to have time and time again.
In this particular video, the RSPCA rescuers have been called out to help a sheep that has been stranded for weeks on a cliffside in North Wales. In order to get to the sheep, they have to rappel down the steep cliffside, while also being extremely careful not to spook the animal.
After some heart stopping moments, they are finally able to get to the animal and bring her back up to safer grounds.
She is now healthy and happy back home with her flock.
