Man Falls Onto Tracks, Then Students Jump Down To Grab Him Minutes Before Train Arrives

While enjoying a night out with friends is a fun and sometimes necessary way to blow off steam, it's important to remember that safety still has to come first.

Of course, it is neither advised nor encouraged to get behind the wheel to travel under such circumstances. That's why more and more restaurants and bars and other establishments are finding ways to prevent their customers from driving drunk.

In this case, public transportation may seem to be a good idea, but it too has its dangers. If you're taking the train, for example, you can fall onto the tracks when you don't have control over your body.

If this happens in an empty station, the situation could be tragic. But luckily for one man in Boston, there was a group of Tufts University freshmen close by who saw him fall onto the train tracks on St. Patrick's Day.

The students immediately moved to jump after him, pulling him up and back onto the platform. The group effort saved the man's life, as a train was just minutes away from arriving.

The man suffered an injured ankle. He also admitted to being under the influence at the time. His story serves as a fair warning that anyone can be in this kind of situation!
