In the world of advertising, it can be difficult to pin down what your audience wants to see.
If you ask me, there's always one sure-fire way to get my attention: dogs. There's just nothing like seeing a sweet, fluffy face in a commerical to make me consider the product a bit more. In fact, there have been several times when I could have skipped the ad before whatever I was actually trying to watch on YouTube, but the sweet pup in a Budweiser clip kept me watching to the very last second.
Apparently the folks at Subaru picked up on the boost canine commercials give companies and recently featured a family of precious golden retrievers in a series of their ads. Dubbing the cuties "The Barkleys," the silly pups spend their time testing out the vehicles by performing ordinary human tasks like pumping gas or, as in the case below, suffering from an unfortunate bad-hair day.
Despite having just come from the salon, Mrs. Barkley isn't looking quite her best when she greets Mr. Barkley in the passenger seat. In fact, she seems pretty reluctant to show him the result of her appointment, but he whines in her direction and she begrudgingly takes off her scarf. His reaction isn't quite what she had hoped for, and she gives him a sassy response to his hilarious face.
It definitely reminds me of more than a few interactions I've seen from humans, only about a thousand times more adorable!
