When Michael Onorati woke up one morning to a black foot, he thought he had Raynaud's syndrome, or limited blood flow to that part of his body.
Basically, it seemed like his foot was dying.
Michael says he started freaking out for about half an hour, thinking he had a medical condition. But his wife revealed what really made his foot a deep shade of mahogany: She had used it as a tanning mitt when she couldn't find her real one!
It turns out Michael is not the only man this has happened to. Others have commented on his post with photos of their awfully tanned feet, meaning this is actually quite a common occurrence.
What did you think was the cause of this darkened foot? If this happened to you, would you have thought this was just a tan? Let us know in the comments!
Dad Michael Onorati woke up one morning and was perplexed by his discolored foot.
The underside of his foot had turned a deep shade of mahogany, which would be alarming to anyone.
He firmly believed for about half an hour that he had Raynaud's syndrome, meaning there was not enough blood going to that extremity.
But his girlfriend made a stunning revelation.
She had used his sock as a tanning mitt, and put it back in his drawer!
Luckily, Michael had no disease and realized that many other men have had the same experience!
