When Kinsey French got engaged, she knew who she wanted to invite to her wedding. Of course, she would share the big day with friends and family. But she had a few special guests in mind: her students!
French is a teacher at a school that specializes in teaching children with special needs. Her students, who have Down Syndrome, are like family to her, so there was no doubt in her mind to invite them to share her big day with her.
The students spend most of their day in regular classes, but do go to speech and occupational therapy for a part of the day.
She invited six children – her first class – to join her. And the kids had a blast!
The children even joined French on the dance floor, and didn't hesitate to steal the show with their killer moves. Of course, this was the moment they had waited for, and they relish every minute of it.
French and her new husband, Josh, knew that what their presence would make the day special for everyone, a day everyone will forever fondly remember.
