I can't get enough of the Tiny House Movement. Just when I think I've seen them all, another will come along and excite me all over again!
Followers of the Tiny House Movement love how affordable these houses are to buy, build, and maintain. They leave a small carbon footprint and require less energy to sustain. Fans appreciate the return to minimalism and using just the bare necessities.
Many Tiny House owners choose to build their own abodes, but a lack of DIY and repair skills shouldn't prevent anyone from owning their own stunningly unique tiny house.
This is why two long time friends of 20 years, David Smith and Randy Jones, decided to open their own Tiny House business called Incredible Tiny Homes. Randy has been building log cabins for years for hundreds of immensely satisfied customers, so David knew he could invest in Randy's ability.
The reaction to their homes has been overwhelmingly positive. David told us by email that since CNN picked the story up, he has "been pretty busy answering emails, calls and showing our model. More interest than I ever thought!"

Meet Randy Jones. He's had a lifetime of experience in buildings log homes and he had an idea for another business.

Randy saw that there was a demand for tiny houses. People want to downsize or need additional space for a loved one nearby. They're also perfect for nature lovers to put near lakes or woods.

They tailor each house to match the customer's budget.

One of the company's most buzzed-about designs is the Hobbit house format, modeled after the abodes discussed in J.R.R. Tolkien's classic novel.

The outside is unique, fun, and quirky, but step inside...

...and it's fully functional!

The houses include a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, mini-stove, hot water heater, and even a combo washer/dryer. These are included with the price of the house!

They offer various plumbing options, septic tanks, and incinerator toilets as well.

Though it's small of square footage, it's smartly designed to give privacy. This model has kitchen space, living room space, and a separate bedroom.

Randy told me via e-mail, "My whole idea was to create a design that no one has done."

"[I wanted to] stay away from the lofts, wood, log cabin regular look that comes with so many tiny homes."

"I built this in four weeks by myself and it was just a blast."

He insists he can build tiny homes for any budget. He has a variety of materials and methods he can use to keep costs down.

The Hobbit house's success has inspired Randy to pursue a few more themed tiny houses.

He's coming up with designs for Snow White themed houses, New York City flat inspired houses, and even Tahitian huts.
