Woman Gets Alert From Her Security System, Then Watches As Thieves Steal Her Christmas Presents

Lauren Bolsen, a third-grade teacher in Atlanta, was in her classroom when she received a strange text. The message was from her home's security company, alerting her that the alarm had been triggered.

She pulled up video surveillance of her home and watched helplessly as thieves loaded their car with her Christmas gifts.

Atlanta's WSB-TV reported that "at least two other homes within miles from theirs were broken into, with the thieves stealing Christmas presents and electronics."

The surveillance video from Bolsen's home shows clear footage of thieves running back and forth from their car and her home, carrying out all her gifts and electronics.

Bolsen said that the most shocking part of the robbery was the fact that they did it in broad daylight, kicking in her door before ransacking the house.

WSB-TV reported that the video showed a dark-colored Honda backing into Blosen’s driveway. The footage revealed a man in red pants placing the giant TV into the back seat, with two other men running out with iPhones and iPads.

Police visited Bolsen's house and crime scene techs dusted for fingerprints. At this point, what Lauren really wants is for these thieves to be caught.

These robbers are true grinches: stealing Christmas presents from within people's homes and causing worry, stress, and sadness during the holiday season.
