She’s 3-Years-Old And Already Bullied For Being Different. Now Her Family Gets The Most TOUCHING Surprise!

This is such a heartwarming story, and one that kids everywhere should hear. After all, it involves amazing kids and candy! Lots and lots of candy.

Lolli and Pops store in Chicago writes:

"Mary Cate suffers from a rare condition called Apert Syndrome. While at the playground, she was picked on for being different. Her mother knew that the children picking on her just needed education on differences, so she started an anti-bullying campaign using the book "Wonder," by R.J. Palacio. She uses the hashtag #choosekind to bring awareness to the campaign about treating all individuals equally regardless of our differences.

After hearing this story, and seeing Mary Cate sign "candy" we knew we could help spread the word. We offered the entire family a trip to our Lolli and Pops store in the Chicago Fashion Outlet in Rosemont for a candy shopping spree, along with some extra surprises and lunch."
