I don't know what it is about elephants, but I've always been fascinated by them. I think it's because I'm certain they're some of the smartest, most emotional animals on the planet, and we're just beginning to figure that out!
In this adorable video, a baby elephant seems to be waving to a bunch of tourists on Safari. When one of the tourists waves back, the baby gets shy (like most babies do) and runs back to his mom. Even at this young of an age, the baby seems to understand how to "wave" – probably from seeing all the safari tourists go by – and wants to try it out!
It's just amazing to me that such a young baby can learn so quickly, but that's why I love elephants!
