Moyo was only a newborn when rescuers found him traumatized and dehydrated on the shore of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. Rescuers tried to find his family and reintegrate him into another herd, but nothing worked, so they decided to take him back to their animal sanctuary.

After arriving, Moyo quickly became happier and more curious, exactly the way a baby should be! He began to make friends with both the people and the other animals who live at the Wild is Life sanctuary, and is quickly becoming one of the family!
