Remember when you were little, and every night before bed you would ask your mom or dad for a goodnight kiss? Well, this kitten is doing the same thing, and it's the sweetest!
I love how Roarie wants to connect with Mom before she settles down for a little nap. It's like she just wants to say hi, know that her mom is there, and then feels safe enough to close her eyes and go to sleep.
The more I learn about animals, the more I think that they're just like us in so many ways. They need love and affection just like we do, especially when they're young. That's why it's so important to be really ready whenever you adopt a kitten or puppy – they take almost as much work as a new baby!
