This Special Needs Prom Leaves Attendees Feeling Like Kings And Queens

Tim Tebow is a famous NFL player known for his devotion to his faith. What he isn't as known for is his relentless charity work.

His W15H program helps terminally ill children — just watch him make a little girl's dying wish come true here. Similarly, Timmy’s Playrooms brings safe playrooms to hospitals for children. In his latest venture, Tebow presents A Night To Shine.

“Tonight, our number one goal is to make you feel like kings and queens. But to be honest with you, every moment of your life, God looks at you like a king or a queen, because you’re so special,” Tebow said.

The program creates an annual prom specifically for special needs kids. The events are hosted in 44 churches, 26 states, and 3 countries.

“This unforgettable prom night experience changed Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God’s love, people with special needs and the value of life. This year we will continue expanding this ministry into a worldwide movement that allows people with special needs to shine, churches to shine, volunteers to shine, and most importantly, Christ to shine,” the initiative reads.

With over 7,000 guests and 15,000 volunteers this incredible prom has allowed so many young people to have their moment in the spotlight and shine. The response was powerful.

“I think heaven will look like this for my son with special needs. Thank you so much," says parent, Lori.

"My daughter will never get married and she will never have children, but tonight you made her feel like a princess," another said.
