Almost all dog owners consider their pooches a part of the family, but there are some dog parents that take spoiling their pets to the next level. Dogs are relatively easy to please, but some dog parents go the extra mile to give their pups the utmost affection and care.
As a retired teacher, Betty McCall had some extra time on her hands, and she decided to use her free time to build a tiny bedroom under the stairs for her Chihuahua, Poncho.
Poncho's bedroom is full of everything a dog — or human — could ask for. The tiny bedroom has everything from a miniature bed to a miniature grand piano to a tiny dresser!
"Poncho likes his room," Betty said. And who wouldn't — it has everything a dog could desire!

Originally, Betty was just going to put a crate in the nook under the stairs, but she decided to turn it into a full-fledged mini bedroom instead.
Betty first thought of the idea of making a bedroom for Poncho when she came across an American Girl doll bed at a thrift store.
"I thought it would be funny to use it as a dog bed," Betty told BuzzFeed. Slowly, with the help of her sisters Gail and Carol, Betty turned the space under her stairs into a fully furnished bedroom for Poncho.
Poncho certainly doesn't seem to mind his little bedroom!
Betty even decorates Poncho's tiny bedroom for the holidays, where he enjoys celebrating Valentine's Day, the Fourth of July, and more.
During football season, Poncho likes to deck his room out in Falcons gear, too!
Betty said that Poncho's room is just big enough for her to clean and vacuum.
Since Poncho "gets nervous and snippy" around company, he spends a lot of time in his room, including on his birthday.
Unfortunately, there isn't much room for visitors, but Poncho seems perfectly happy spending time in his room by himself or occasionally with his mom.
