First days of school can be a roller coaster of excitement, nerves, and a little scary as we're nudged out of our proverbial nests an into the world of academia and socialization.
Surely you'll remember your first day of school outfits (picked at first by Mom or Dad, and then on your own in later years). Those bagged or boxed lunches packed with snacks and a sandwich. The neat backpack with the panel of a character from your favorite childhood series. And all those new books, new toys, new friends — and maybe a couple of bittersweet tears — that await you just beyond the double doors of the school's entrance.
All of those things are great. But the best part? Getting picked up at the end of the day — or so the toddler in the video below would you have you believe.
