Camera Catches Man Jumping In Front Of Car When He Spots Toddler In The Middle Of The Road

Keeping an eye on children can be a tough job, especially if a parent's attention is torn away from the toddler and distracted by another matter. Kids always find a way to escape the gaze of their parents somehow. I remember slipping by my parents a few times in my youth, but I never put myself in danger, thankfully.

But this is a legitimate concern for many parents. For the few seconds that they are not watching their child, the little one can slip away, or even be taken away by a stranger.

One of a parent's biggest fears is that their child will find himself or herself in the middle of a busy road, in grave danger of being run over.

This was the case of a toddler in China, who escaped his mother on a toy car. The lanes are busy and jam-packed with cars. A surveillance camera catches all of the action: no one bothers to stop or to get out of their vehicles to save the toddler in peril. The drivers simply weave around the child, as if he were simply a nuisance.

But one concerned officer took action and leaped in front of the oncoming cars before they could cause any harm to the 3-year-old boy.

The officer, named Wu Feng, was even able to grab the toy car for safety measure!

After some searching, the toddler's mother was located, and she was reunited with her child.
