When you're auditioning for talent show competitions, it's no secret that a performer's secret weapon is often taking a big risk on setting yourself apart from everyone else.
When Australia's Got Talent hopeful Tom Ward first stepped on the stage, the judges definitely didn't follow the "don't judge a book by its cover" rule of thumb and were quick to assume he was just like every other young hopeful with a guitar. However, once Ward started playing his first few notes on guitar, it was clear that they couldn't have been more wrong.
Ward got his start putting on street performances and says that he loves to shock people with his surprising guitar solos. After seeing his performance, I can definitely understand why… They must be completely speechless when they see him on the street!
The complete disbelief on the judges’ faces makes it clear that there is something very different about this young performer. I've always wanted to learn how to play an instrument, but to be able to perfect it like this talented guitarist did is really something special. The way he shreds his guitar completely blows my mind and since this video has more than 21 million views on YouTube, it's safe to say I'm not the only one!
