Grab a box of tissues before you watch this emotional advertisement from Thai communication provider TrueMove H. The three-minute commercial serves as a powerful reminder about the impact of a good deed.
The ad starts with a small boy being caught stealing from a pharmacy. A cafe owner intervenes and calms the situation when he hears the young boy was getting the medicine for his sick mother. The cafe owner pays for the stolen items and then proceeds to tell his daughter to get the boy some food, too. The boy runs off.
The ad moves forward 30 years, as the cafe owner collapses at his store. His daughter is distraught as he lays unconscious in hospital and presented with an enormous medical bill. She is ready to put her house up for sale. When she returns to the hospital, she discovers a note with the bill explains that "all expenses have been paid, with three packs of painkillers and a bag of veggie soup." The doctor tasked with taking care of her father, is the same boy whom he helped all those years ago.
