Mom Wishes Her Soldier Son Could Be In Parade, Then Gasps When She Sees Him Waving On Float

The Tulip Time parade in Pella, Iowa, is one of the oldest traditions in town. The annual celebration is a time for everyone there to get together and enjoy some springtime festivities.

This year, it was also the setting of a very special surprise.

Ruth Bushnell and her family are no strangers to the Tulip Time celebration. Unfortunately, not every member of her family could be in attendance.

"I have a son that is serving in Germany," she said.

Indeed, Ruth's son, Sergeant Brian Bushnell, was unable to attend the event. When the day came and Ruth and her family were gathered to watch the floats go by, she couldn't help but hope that, next year, her son would be there.

Especially on the military float.

"Good-looking men on that float!" a man yelled to her in the video below.

Ruth agreed, looking up at the soldiers on the float. She even told that man she hoped Brian could be on it next year.

Except there was one detail she failed to recognize.

Brian was already on the float!

"Oh!" she screamed when she saw him. "Oh, my son!"

Unable to hold back her tears, she stood paralyzed in shock!

You have got to see her full reaction in the video below. And please remember to SHARE it on Facebook!
