If MacGyver taught us anything, it was that you could take a few everyday objects and turn them into something brilliant.
For instance, did you know you could take a pill bottle, glue a rock to the top of it, and then bury it in the ground as a safe place to store a set of spare keys? Or better yet, you can use that pill bottle as a waterproof survival kit to store bandages, a tiny emergency flashlight, and lighter. I know, it seems so simple but it’s also genius!
My favorite tricks are actually the survival ones, because you’ve got to be prepared to think on your feet — especially in dire circumstances. For instance, if you have a gum wrapper and a battery, you can start an instant fire. It’s actually quite a sight to see.
Yet nothing is as remarkable as the survival trick in the video below. All you need is a can of tuna, scissors, and a paper towel. What can you possibly do with these three items in order to survive other than opening the can with the scissors, eating the tuna, and wiping your mouth clean?
