Twins Lose Mom To Cancer, Then 5 Months Later Their Dad Calls His Family To Say He Has Cancer

Sometimes life is just very unfair. We hit bumps in the road that challenge us in unimaginable ways and we don’t always know why.

At just 11-years-old, twin brothers Nick and Noah Miller are dealing with things that most adults have never had to.

They recently lost both their parents to cancer, and now they’re learning what their next life move will be.

In May 2012, Nick and Noah lost their mom to breast cancer. But then just five months later, their dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

“I don’t know if anyone can ever prepare for this. I don’t know what the odds are of both the parents having cancer and passing away that quickly,” said their uncle, Jeremy White.

When the boy’s father was diagnosed, he immediately called his family saying that there had to be a plan made so he could make sure that his boys were taken care of should the worst happen.

And sadly, the twin’s dad lost his cancer fight in August of 2013.

The boys will now be moving in with their uncle Jeremy, but that means a move two hours away from home. Thankfully they have a big family and friends who are getting them through this transition.

“We’re all talking about the transition and we’re preparing right now for it,” Jeremy said. “I know it’s a long road and it’s not going to be easy and it’s going to take a long time before we think anything becomes the new normal for us.”
