Cat people, we've some remarkable news for you: there are two new breeds of cat on this planet, and they're really, really cute.
They've been dubbed a Sphynxiebob and a Bambob — because cute things deserve cute names, and their breeders excelled wildly at that task.
"It was my dream to be able to produce an adorable bob-tailed cat that everyone would be able to enjoy," says Florida resident April Arguin, the woman responsible for these bob-tailed cuties.
Barcroft reports that her cattery LiLNudists, which specializes in Hairless Sphynx & Bambino Dwarf cats, has been trying for three years to successfully breed their bobbed tail cats. She's now in the process of trying to get the two unique breeds officially listed by the Rare and Exotic Feline Registry.
But there are were a few unforeseen perks to this breed, as well.
"We call them velcro kitties," says April of these furless adorable babies. "They need to be with you, and on you, and in bed with you and everywhere you go. They are wonderful with children — they love to interact and play."
So what it sounds like is that not only has April bred some adorable kitties, she's managed to mix in some sweetness, too. One for each of us, I say!
