We can't imagine the shock it must have been for drivers who witnessed this on a California road!
Little 5-year-old Tatum Boos loves her pony, Juliette. Juliette is a "model" or sorts, posing for pictures with interested clients. Her white coat and accessories make her seem like an animal right out of a fairytale!
But one of those accessories happens to be an attachable golden horn that sits in the middle of her head, much like the way a unicorn's horn might. And she just happened to be wearing the accessory — and a crown of white blooms — when she became frightened and escaped her handler during a birthday party.
The pony ran amok on the road, stunning drivers who couldn't believe what they were seeing. They were so confused by the sight that many called the equally puzzled cops about a runaway "unicorn."
But when cops arrived, unicorn or not, the animal was going to be caught. It took them three hours to safely capture the animal and return her to the Boos family.
As much as we wished that unicorns could be real, Juliette comes pretty close!
