#1. Akita
Akitas can be very loyal, but also very protective and stubborn, so if they're not given the proper training, they may become territorial of people and places. They also have ample energy, and need to have a lifestyle where they can run around a few times a day.
#2. Basset Hounds
Even though some people consider Basset Hounds to be stubborn, the reality is that they just need to be trained in a very specific way. Bassets are food and reward driven, so if you're going to own one of these loyal, patient dogs, it's essential that you train them with positive reinforcement. Anything else will get you a dog with very "selective" hearing.

Chihuahuas can be fiercely loyal, which means that if they're not trained well, they may become overprotective. Pugs are adorable, but can be very stubborn, and if they're not trained with the proper techniques, have no problem completely ignoring their owners! They are very food motivated, so start them early with positive reinforcement, and you'll have a happy and friendly cuddle bug!
