He Hollows Out A Watermelon And Pours In Boiling Water. Why? GENIUS!

Tea is so great for so many reasons, but first and foremost, it just tastes so delicious. With so many different varieties of tea available, it seems like you could never run out of something yummy to try. But what if I told you that you could naturally infuse your own tea with a fruit that everyone loves?

Well, thanks to Food Life Hacks, Ideas & Recipes on YouTube, now you can try it out for yourself. In the video below, he is making watermelon-infused tea by making the watermelon itself into a teapot. How clever!

It seems like you could probably use any type of large melon to do this, but your mileage may vary, so be careful with your boiling water.

The method to making the watermelon tea is quite simple. Follow along with the video as he hollows out the watermelon after cutting it a little more than halfway down the middle.

Next, he takes his favorite variety of loose tea and drops it into the watermelon teapot. Then he just adds the boiling water.

Put the watermelon lid back on and let it steep for as long as you like. Then, all you have to do is pour the tea right out of the watermelon and into your mug. If loose bits of tea don't bother you, drink away. Otherwise, you may want to pour the tea through a strainer.

This seems like a yummy, easy food hack. I know I'm going to try it!
