15 Ways Young Children Embarrass Their Parents

Ah, to be a kid again. Life is so simple when you're a youngster — you have no responsibilities, your parents make all your tough decisions for you, and best of all, when you do something awkward, your mom and dad are the ones who have to deal with the embarrassment of it. Maybe that's why so many young children almost seem to go out of their way just to watch their parents' faces turn beet red!

By the time most of us have grown out of our early childhood years, we've learned enough about the world to have figured out what is and isn't acceptable according to society's rules. Some of us have to learn our lessons the hard way, though — just look at what this dad did to try to convince his 4-year-old to stop throwing temper tantrums in public!

It's not always bad behavior that leaves parents cringing, though. Sometimes, little kids just have no idea what's going on around them, such as this little boy who had an oopsie at the airport that will hopefully make him laugh when he gets a bit older. I might miss being a kid sometimes, but I sure am glad I'm a bit more socially graceful than I was a few decades ago!

If you're a parent, you'll definitely be able to relate to these embarrassing situations involving children. But don't worry! You're definitely not the only mom or dad to have dealt with these cringe-worthy problems of parenthood, and I guarantee you won't be the last.

Make sure you SHARE these embarrassing parenting moments with all your other friends who have kids to give them a laugh!
