If you are in a relationship and find out your significant other is cheating on you, it’s a punch in the gut. Now, if you find out your significant other is cheating on you with your best friend, that’s a completely different type of pain.
The Reddit Cheating Stories YouTube channel shared a story from a Reddit user telling his story about his wife cheating on him months before their wedding — and while they were married — with his best friend. He doesn’t give his name and describes himself as male, 26, and his wife as female, 25. The Reddit user and his wife had just been married for over a month.
He went on to explain that his friend — male, 25 — worked with him for three years and was one of his closest friends. One time when the Reddit user and his wife were lying in bed, he saw her receive a text message from his friend. She quickly swiped up.
When he asked her what it was about, she took immediate offense and claimed it was nothing, accusing him of not trusting her. A couple of days later, he was woken up by a phone call from a different coworker, informing him that his best friend took his own life the night before.
The Reddit user found it odd that his wife was taking the death of his friend very hard and started to become even more suspicious. The day after their one-month anniversary, he was contacted by his wife with a strange request. She asked that he not to go over to that "girl's house," saying she needed to talk to him first.
He was then contacted by his best friend's girlfriend, who told him that she had information about his wife and his friend talking to each other for months. Seeing that his instinct had been right this whole time, the Reddit user went over to his friend's girlfriend’s house, and she showed him the messages between his wife and his best friend.
After scrolling through the messages for 30 minutes, the Reddit user found out even more shocking information.
