Where do you think beauty comes from? Some think it can only be achieved through rigorous workouts and strict diets. Some believe it comes from expensive beauty products and designer clothes. And others think it's attained by owning big houses and fancy cars.
Talli Osborne will tell you that true beauty can only come from within. And, like the mom who realized skinniness didn't make her happy, Talli's inspiring message is sweeping the nation.
Though she stands less than four feet tall, Talli possesses one of the biggest and most beautiful personalities I've ever seen. Born without arms and missing bones in her legs, Talli has made it her life's work to challenge our perceptions of ideal beauty.
"I was brought up to think that I was like everyone else, and I could be like everyone else," said Talli. "But I'm not, actually, I'm really not like everyone else, I'm different. And I should embrace that."
And embrace it Talli certainly has! This petite punk rocker has let nothing stand in her way, and she's here to inspire all of us to do more and go farther.

Talli was born missing her arms and bones in her legs. Though she did spend some time with prosthetic legs, she eventually put them aside.
"I wanted to be the opposite of what everyone would assume," said Talli. But it wasn't always easy to shake off people's perceptions.
Throughout her life, Talli has experienced discrimination and bullying. Even as an adult, Talli has been the subject of cruel online mockery. “That’s hard. It’s like a car crash,” said Talli. “You just have to sit there and read page after page of negativity.”
But she never let it hold her back. “The reason I couldn’t be like everyone else is because I’m not. And I love that. Just love yourself – love your body. Embrace it.”
Now Talli hopes to spread her optimism and confidence to people around the world. "Do not judge a book by its cover," she says. "Just because you see somebody doesn't mean you know their story."
"I am a very confident woman and I love who I am and I wouldn't change anything about me."
Now, Talli leads a life that is anything but average. She sings in a punk band, strides down runways in local fashion shows, and tours the country giving motivational speeches.
Despite having a very successful career with Virgin Mobile — even inspiring Sir Richard Branson — Talli gave it all up to give motivational speeches full-time.
Talli says she always leaves her talks with an amazing feeling. “It’s the best,” said Talli. “It’s the reason I know I’m supposed to be doing this.”
