Recently, selfies have developed a pretty bad name. With popular film festivals, museums, and other venues completely banning the selfie, and many celebrities and even Prince William requesting their fans to take "normal pictures" with them, more and more people are starting to take a more traditional route when taking photos. It's beginning to seem like the selfie craze has ended.
While a selfie of your makeup or outfit every day can be a little much, I would like to make the argument that there is a time and a place for everything…even the shunned selfie!
We have seen some pretty awesome ones that people have taken that should definitely be on the approved list of selfies — like the selfie-a-day project one girl completed, which shows the changes one person can go through while battling depression, and one couple's selfie that was able to capture the moment a bolt of lightning struck directly behind them!

In the year since that video was made, Alex, being the world traveler and adventure enthusiast he is, has traveled to even more amazing places, raising money for charitable causes along the way and just doing what he does best…taking selfies better than anybody else!
