Nature often has many surprises in store for us humans. We never know what animal will show up at our front door or on the road, just when we least expect it. In some parts of the country, it's more common than in others.
After all, if you live in a heavily wooded area, or near swampy areas, you may come across some pretty ferocious carnivores who could threaten your safety.
But most other times, you cross paths with the most peaceful creatures!
One such animal was a harmless cockatoo, who just wanted to get a yogi a little better. He also took the perfect opportunity to make an entrance, as seen in this clip.
The woman poses in front of a camera, on Putney beach, on Great Keppel Island in Australia. She slowly lifts one of her legs in the air, and reaches back to grab it with one arm.
But as soon as she does, the giant white bird flies in, and perches on top of her extended hand!
The woman is clearly very surprised by the cockatoo's sudden appearance, and releases her pose. But the bird stays put, and she doesn't chase him away. She does, however, chase away the seagulls who seem to be in pursuit of the beautiful bird.
What a priceless interaction between man and beast. And it's footage this woman will cherish forever!
