When Dana Jackson first got married at the tender age of 15 years old, she had no idea that her second future husband was only a toddler at that precise moment.
However, 85 years later, 100-year-old Jackson hadn't lost her sense of adventure and decided to tie the knot with 87-year-old Bill Strauss in a beautiful ceremony at the Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green, KY.
"I feel 50," the centenarian happily said right after she got hitched to her new love. Strauss, who struggles with poor eyesight, said he shed more than his fair share of happy tears. When his new bride finally got close enough, all he could see was how beautifully stunning she was.
The couple first met two years ago at an adult day care establishment, and after some time enjoying each other's company, they came to the conclusion that they belonged together.
While neither of the newlyweds ever dreamed that they would get married again, it just goes to show you that you never know who you're going to meet, and you're never too old to follow your dreams and your heart!
Please watch their beautiful ceremony below, with the bride looking beautiful in a traditionally white gown and veil, and the groom looking dapper in a tux. They even had a lovely wedding cake, appropriately decorated with the words "Congratulations, you are never too old." And make sure to watch the adorably heartfelt statement they say to each other at the 1:58 mark. This is just too beautiful!
Congratulations to the happy couple, and hopefully you can live just as long as them and be just as happy!
