When you grow up with a barn on your property, you get a lot of quality time with all sorts of animals. Big and small, feathered and furry, they all hold a special place in your heart.
The most special time is when the babies start showing up.
Photographer Rachel Wolters and her daughter took this lovely time of year to capture some truly adorable photos. With baby ducks hatched, both mom and daughter thought that it would be such a sweet memory to capture.
When asked exactly how the idea for this photo shoot came about, Rachel told LittleThings: "My daughter has a huge heart for animals, and life itself. She will spend hours holding them and just being around them, so most of my daily photos are of her doing just so. And since we had some baby ducklings here, I knew I needed to get some pictures of her and them together. I mean, who doesn’t love baby ducks?"
