Moving into college is an exciting time, both for students and for parents.
When many teens see their dorm rooms for the first time, they're understandably underwhelmed.
Most university dorms are old, and often somewhat run-down. The rooms are usually small and nondescript, leaving the decorating up to the students.
Some kids decide to just put up a few posters and tapestries, while others go all-out and get throw pillows, televisions, picture frames, and more.
Even though most students aren't expecting celebrities like Reese Witherspoon to barge in on them, they still want their dorm rooms to look presentable.
Well, these two Texas teens definitely went beyond just "presentable." According to San Antonio Express-News, Skylar Bantz and Adeline Vela spent around $2000 in order to completely transform their college bedroom.
While it started as boring and drab, it's totally one-of-a-kind and fabulous after their makeover. Check out the photos of the transformation below — you'll be absolutely blown away!

When they started, the room looked just like any other Texas State University dorm.
With the boring blue mattresses, bare-bones wooden bed frames, and boring white walls and floors, the room had no personality whatsoever.
Skylar and Adeline had a lot of stuff they needed to fit in their room, but luckily, they had five other people with them to help.
It took 20 hours to complete the transformation, but once they were done, the room looked unrecognizable.
The first thing they decided to do was swap out the normal dorm beds for lofted ones that would give them more space.
They draped see-through fabric off the ends of the bed to make it feel light and airy. Then, they used the same color scheme on each of their beds.
The plain white bookshelves weren't inspiring the two teen girls, and they knew they'd need some nice shelves to keep themselves motivated to study.
The dirty desk also wasn't doing the room any favors, so they used some marble contact paper to spruce it up.
They made sure to use easily removable items, like this peel-off contact paper.
In addition, they put up flame-retardant wallpaper that looked just like gray bricks. Thankfully, it will also peel off easily at the end of the year.
The brick and marble make the room look less like a dorm room and more like a luxurious New York City loft.
They decorated with subtle colors that make the room look even more elegant.
Above the door, they put up a sign saying "seek peace."
The two girls also placed string lights around the ceiling and covered their beds in beautiful textures.
The teen girls wanted their room to look sophisticated, while also maintaining an element of youthfulness.
They added monograms to the backs of their modern see-through chairs.
Finally, they filled the room with dorm essentials: a printer, a television, and a coffee maker.
