Wedding bells were ringing on November 3, 2018, for John-David Duggar and his bride, Abbie Grace Burnett.
"We are officially married," John said in a TLC update. The happy couple sat together for a brief interview right after tying the knot, and they couldn't take their eyes off each other.
John and Abbie announced their official courtship on June 26, and they got engaged a month later, on July 25. And just a few months later, they were exchanging vows!
An update on the Duggar Family website reads:
“Wedding bells chimed today as John-David and Abbie became husband and wife!! We are overjoyed for the two of them to begin their married life together. We know the Lord has brought them together and will use them to reach many people. We are so happy to be surrounded by family and friends and we thank you all for your prayers and support for John and Abbie!”
In June, John-David Duggar announced that he was officially courting Abbie Grace Burnett.
The 28-year-old, who is the third of the 19 Duggar children, wrote, "So, I reconsidered the whole 'bachelor ‘til the rapture' thing."
A month after beginning their courtship, John popped the question. Abbie, of course, said yes!
The happy couple immediately began preparing for their upcoming nuptials.
And on November 3, John and Abbie exchanged vows in front of their friends and family.
John and Abbie's wedding is just the latest in a long string of exciting moments in the Duggar family.
On February 23, Joy-Anna and her husband Austin welcomed their baby boy, Gideon, to the family.
A few months later, on June 8, Joe and his wife Kendra welcomed their baby boy, Garrett, to the family.
A few weeks after that, on June 30, Josiah tied the knot with Lauren Swanson.
On July 19, Jinger and her husband Jeremy welcomed their baby girl, Felicity.
So what's next for the Duggars? There aren't any courtships, engagements, or pregnancies right now, but that doesn't mean there won't be some soon!
Twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah are 19 now, so they could be the next ones looking for courtships!
Or will John-David's twin Jana be the next one to enter a courtship?
And as far as pregnancies go, who knows who could be next? Some possibilities are Jessa and Ben, Jill and Derick, Josiah and Lauren, and John and Abbie!
