Anchor Wears A Bright Green Dress To Blend In With The Green Screen In This Goofy Clip

During live reports, anything can happen! Whether it's on television or on the radio, any little mistake can be noticeable and witnessed by thousands of people. That's why newscasters on television need to pay extra attention to their clothing choice to make sure that they look proper and presentable for the camera.

But if you're a meteorologist, you also need to make sure the color of your clothing isn't a shade of green that will blend in with the green screen. One newscaster thought her dress was light enough, but she ended up having to use one of her colleague's blazers to report the morning weather!

Although this is common enough mistake, many are unfamiliar with how the problem arises. So the WBZ This Morning crew decided to demonstrate why green clothing wouldn't work in front of the camera — and just in time for St. Patrick's Day! And though the holiday might already be past us, the moment is certainly a funny one on any given day.

The weather report started with meteorologist Danielle Niles showing how a green sneaker blended in almost perfectly with the backdrop behind her. But it was her colleague's stunt that was even more impressive! Newscaster Kathryn Hauser walked out in front of the camera, wearing a green dress, as Danielle giggled. We see why — Kathryn was almost entirely invisible, save her arms and her head!
