Security Guard Describes Ghosts Haunting A Texas Museum At Night

I have to admit, I’m usually pretty skeptical when it comes to the spooky side of life. My cousins used to try to scare me during sleepovers with their ghost stories, even claiming their own home was haunted, but I never fell for it. Funnily enough, it was my big, strong older brother who would end up with the case of heebie-jeebies instead!

But this video is having me second guess my doubting ways. It’s certainly more convincing than the youthful stunts they used to pull on us! Fox 12 News in Oregon took a trip to San Antonio, TX, to speak with two employees from the Institute of Texas Cultures who claim to have experienced some pretty freaky moments while on the job.

Willie Mendez, who has been at the museum since 1994, says he’s frequently felt a tug on his shirt at about the height of a child despite being all by himself. Even more shocking, he also explains seeing a fully-formed apparition of a Native American woman, not appearing translucent at all, standing in an area of the facility known as “The Cave.”

Security guard Troy Simchak has a few stories of his own, too. While working overnight, he says he could often hear disembodied voices having a conversation. Knowing how crazy that sounds, Simchak decided to investigate by recording himself on audio addressing the voice one night, asking if it ever walked the earth as a human being.

Take a look at the video to hear the shocking response as well as some chilling security footage.
