Fish might not be as fun as dogs or cats to have around, but they're still beautiful pets that can be relatively easy to maintain. Many of us like to show them off in small, plain glass bowls, maybe with some fake plants and a little treasure chest, but even the most well-decorated bowls can get boring to look at after a while. To combat this, some people have gotten extremely creative with their aquariums, and the results are pretty spectacular.

Bettas require at least a gallon of water to swim in, and ideally, they'll have at least a 2.5-gallon tank to live in. It's also good to buy a water filter and heater for them. And of course, no matter what decorations and cool lights you buy to adorn your tank, the most important thing is that your fish are happy, so make sure your upgraded aquarium is easy to clean and your little pets are fed well!
