Although no one knows exactly what Marnie the Dog's life was like for her first 9 years, when she was picked up by Animal Control officers on the streets of Bridgeport, Connecticut in 2012, it was obvious she needed a serious dose of TLC.
No one claimed her and the shelter ended up taking her in, nicknaming her "Stinky" because of her matted condition and horrible breath. She stayed at the shelter for four months until she was adopted by a woman named Shirley. Stinky soon became Marnie and was now a resident of New York City.
It turns out her odor was coming from her rotting teeth, a dozen of which were pulled. Soon, with a haircut, dental work, and some love, Marnie, a Shih Tzu, came out of her shell and now goes on all kinds of adventures with her new BFF Shirley.
Today's adventure is a trip to Duane Reade drug store. Who new shopping could be this adorable?
