Eddie Murphy and fiancée Paige Butcher welcomed their second baby, Max Charles Murphy, last Friday. The couple just confirmed the news to People.
"Both mother and son are doing well," Eddie's rep said.
Eddie and Paige also share a 2-year-old daughter, Izzy Oona. In August, they announced that they were going to give Izzy a younger sibling.
The couple was "very happy to expect another baby," a source told People at the time. "They wished for a younger sibling for their daughter."
Eddie, 57, now has 10 children total with five different women; most of them are with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell Murphy. The source added that Paige, 39, is "very close to Eddie's kids."
"They are a very special and happy family," the source explained. "They vacation and spend holidays together. Paige loves being a mom and is very involved. She takes her daughter to the park and for play dates."
Eddie and Paige also confirmed their engagement in September.

Max was born on Friday, November 30, and weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. Murphy's rep confirmed that "both mother and son are doing well," People reports.
The couple decided to have a second baby to give their older daughter, Izzy Oona, 2, a younger sibling. They announced the pregnancy in August.
"They wished for a younger sibling for their daughter," an inside source told People at the time. "They live a pretty low-key life. They are all about family. Paige is very close to Eddie's kids."
Eddie has eight kids from previous relationships, including five with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy.

Eddie and Nicole share Bella Zahra, 16; Zola Ivy, 18; Shayne Audra, 23; Miles Mitchell, 25; and Bria, 28.
Eddie had his first child, Eric, 29, with his ex Paulette McNeely. His second-eldest son, Christian, 27, was with another ex, Tamara Hood.
He also has an 11-year-old daughter, Angel, with singer Melanie Brown (Mel B aka Scary Spice).
That makes this new baby Eddie's 10th so far. He must be a pro at fatherhood by now!

Eddie and Paige were "very happy to expect another baby," a source said.
The couple began dating in 2012, and they've been relatively quiet about their relationship so far.
They announced Paige's first pregnancy in 2015.
In September 2018, they confirmed that they were engaged.
In a 2011 interview with Rolling Stone, Eddie opened up about how much he enjoys being a low-key family man these days.
"It's peaceful, quiet, that's my day-to-day," he said. "I play my guitar, hang out with my girl. My kids went to their mom's this week. I'm chilling, no stress."
"After all these years, I've done well and I'm cool," he continued. "I feel comfortable in my skin, I've saved some paper, everybody's healthy, my kids are beautiful and smart, doing different things, it's all good. I'm trying to maintain my s*** like this, and do a fun project every now and then."

Eddie's kids have been involved in a variety of pursuits. His oldest daughter Bria has done some acting and recently opened her first gallery exhibit. And his other children, including Christian, Shayne Audry, and Zola Ivy, have also been involved in film and TV.
