Paul McCartney Plays Bass With Young Fan Onstage In Buenos Aires

I can still vividly remember the first concert I ever attended. I was in the fifth grade and my whole family had gathered together — aunts, uncles, and cousins included — to see the one and only Garth Brooks make his homecoming return to the stage in Tulsa, OK. The buzz around town stirred so much excitement, he had to add two extra shows to his stay! The country icon made sure everyone got a chance to see him do his thing.

While I was thrilled just to be seated in stadium and enjoy all of Brooks' infamous antics onstage, the lucky young lady in the clip below had an even more eventful night when she nabbed a front-row seat to see Sir Paul McCartney perform in Buenos Aires. Leila Harfuch Lacase and her mom came prepared for the former Beatle by crafting a couple of posters to get his attention. One requested that he sign her toy monkey, while the other asked if she could play bass alongside him.

They knew it was a long shot, of course, but the 73-year-old rocker made Leila's dreams come true when he invited her to join him. However, McCartney had apparently only noticed the first sign regarding her monkey and was happy to oblige. That's when the little girl stepped up and asked for the more memorable favor of playing with him.

He was a bit shocked at first, but handed over one of his spare instruments, and the pair began their incredible performance of "Get Back."
