Meet Viktoria Modesta. She's a model, pop-star and the new face behind British broadcaster Channel 4's new "Born Risky" initiative.
So what makes her so unique? Viktoria only has one leg and she's here to prove that being different is everything. Known as the world's first "bionic pop star," Viktoria's new song, "Prototype" makes her a champion for anyone with a disability, even though she says her prosthetic point leg gives her an advantage over everyone else in the game.
She calls herself the antidote to “homogenised pop” and its “painfully dull and manufactured” stars, according to Channel 4. In her mind-blowing video, Viktoria shuts down the stigma that people with disabilities face surrounding power and sexuality. Viktoria sports a variety of mesmerizing lower leg prosthetics that most definitely add to her sex appeal on camera.
The best part about Viktoria? The artist, who was born disabled and elected to have her leg amputated at age 20 to avoid health problems, is catching worldwide attention for just being herself. “When people say, 'How is she different from some other female artist out there with hardly any clothes on," Viktoria told Dazed Digital.
"Well yeah, that's exactly the point. I'm human, I'm just like everybody else.”
