Sam the British bulldog is quite a celebrity in Odessa, Ukraine…and the little guy's celebrity status is about to get even bigger!
This is one dog with a unique talent that you definitely don't see everyday, especially in Ukraine. Sam can often be seen skateboarding around the city, but on this particular day his unique skill came to the rescue, as he skated right outside City Hall.
The Ukranian police had been trying to shut down an angry mob of protestors outside the government building. According to CEN, the demonstrators were threatening to rush City Hall when Sam, the unlikely superhero, skated in to help police.
In the video, Sam comes flying through the crowd on his skateboard, confusing many of the protestors. Suddenly, the anger turned to laughter and the mob began to scatter. One witness told CEN, "He was hilarious and impossible to ignore. He seemed very excited about the action and was smashing the skateboard left and right and running into everyone," while many others assumed he was part of the police squad.
As you'll see in the video, it's impossible to ignore this fur ball on four wheels. Sam is living proof that violence is NEVER the answer!
