Some of the biggest fast food restaurant chains in the world have made efforts in recent years to add healthier options and smaller portion sizes on their menu.
This may help some people eat healthier, but it's a very minimal factor when we look at the obesity problem here in America. Besides the obvious reason of fast food being delicious and addictive, one reason many people continue to have their meals at fast food chains is that it's all they can afford. And the most dangerous part? They don't know how many calories are in that one meal.
YouTube page Flydoodle Science released the following video to show us exactly what the recommendation of 2,000 calories per day can get you at the most popular fast food restaurants.
The results will definitely surprise you. I couldn't believe that some of the places I thought were on the healthier side were really some of the worst offenders.
