There comes a time in the day when we all hit that proverbial wall. For me, it's usually around three or four in the afternoon. You start to get sleepy and sometimes it takes a cup of coffee or two to jolt you back to reality and give you a second wind. It happens to the best of us.
According to this video, it looks like us humans aren't the only ones that find it hard to keep our eyes open after a long, hard day. Pets get super sleepy too!
Sitting in front of a campfire the morning after an overnight fishing trip, this adorable pup does whatever he can to stay awake, but it's just not working. According to the YouTube video description (which Google kindly translated from Russian to English for us), the fishing trip was soaked with rain and the dog did not get enough sleep overnight. Now he's sitting by the fire, keeping warm, and drifting off to dreamland.
It's a short clip, but watching this Russian dog wobble back and forth while his humans laugh themselves silly is kind of hypnotic and totally hilarious. It makes me want to give this pup a nice, warm bed to cuddle up in. Maybe even a bowl of kibble and some warm water to get the chill out of his bones.
Either way, we love this little guy. He's had a long night. He's earned a few hours of shut-eye!
