Football season is almost over. You know what that means…time for the Puppy Bowl!
Oh, and I guess the Super Bowl is going on that night, too. If you're having football fans over to the house, or if you're going to someone else's parties, you know that half of the fun of a good Super Bowl party is the food!
You've got your staples: chicken wings, hot dogs or hamburgs, sweets, a veggie tray, chips, dips, guac, etc., etc. Most likely, even if you're not hosting the party, you've been tasked with bringing a dish.
This year, why not bring a dish and some extra "wow-factor" to the party with some of these amazing snack hacks that will leave people cheering for more than just their team — whether they're Seahawks or Patriots fans?!
Look, I'm no expert in the kitchen. I'm more of a "can we order in" type of guy, but even I think these are pretty doable.
Feel free to send us your own recipe ideas and SHARE if you think that part of the fun of a Super Bowl party is the party itself!
1. Guacamole Field and Snack Stadium!
I know it looks like a lot of work, but make the football field out of guacamole (or a seven layer dip) with the end zones made of cheese and hummus plates.
For the stadium, buy some simple cardboard organizers from your nearest office supply store and simply dump in the snacks!
2. Mini Guacamole Field and Snack Stadium
If you need something to carry, try this smaller version on for size.
The goal posts are made from Slim Jims held together by toothpicks.
3. Label Buns So Your Chef Knows How to Prepare Each Burger!
4. Football-shaped Pizza Pockets
5. Freeze Water Balloons With Your Team's Colors For The Ice Chest
6. Customized Sugar Cookies
Support your favorite team by mixing food coloring to basic white frosting. You can even make jerseys for each player!
Just add the frosting to any basic sugar cookie recipe, and you've got a fun and sweet way to show your team support!
7. Deflated Football Cookies
If you want to get a laugh at your party, show up with these "deflated" football cookies to make fun of this year's "Deflategate" scandal.
(Note: Not recommended for the sensitive Patriots fan!)
7. Football-Shaped Deviled Eggs
This one's a personal favorite of mine!

9. Crispy Zucchini Fritters
Every Super Bowl party has its share of fried foods — but this one is fun and unexpected.

9. Cocktail Wieners with Helmets!
I usually bring the cocktail wieners when I go to a Super Bowl party because I can just throw them in a slow cooker with some barbecue sauce and call it a day, but maybe this year I'll spice 'em up.
Make the helmets by cutting olives in half. Decorate them with mustard and a toothpick.
11. Football Rice Krispie Treats
What's not to love? Recipe at La Jolla Mom.
12. The Best Way To Cook Large Amounts of Corn is in Your Cooler!
Don't believe us? Check out the instructions on Bon Appetit.
13. Watermelon Helmet
If you have trouble getting kids (and husbands) to eat their fruits and vegetables, at least make it fun.
