Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. Some days I'm overwhelmed by her beauty, and other times, I am terrified to step outside my house. There is no denying that nature has a way of keeping us on our toes!
However, when the weather gets really bad, we tend to take precautions and prepare for the worst, but for helpless animals, there is often nowhere to turn. Avoiding nature's wrath can often be impossible when you're small and alone. In the following video, we see an example of an animal having to succumb to nature's fury, but fortunately for this stranded pup, the accident did not go unnoticed.
When a small brown dog was swept into the raging Los Angeles River after a sudden thunderstorm, the outcome looked grim. Luckily, there were witnesses who alerted authorities just in the nick of time. A rescue team was able to fly in on a helicopter and airlift the tiny pup to safety. The dog's rescuers are now looking for his owner, since he was wearing a collar, but had no identification.
